"I come from County Meath Ireland, and I have taught in the Irish and UK education system and see the merits of different education systems. During my undergraduate, Bachelor of Science I attended Maynooth College in Kildare, and for postgraduate Master of Management Science at University College Dublin (Smurfit Business School). My own view is that education should help give students confidence to succeed confidently in broader society."
Richard Toner
"I studied English and History in the National University of Ireland Maynooth where I was also awarded a Higher Diploma in Informational Technology. I am originally from Tullamore, Co. Offlay, but I have been living and working in Asia since 2009 in Indonesia, Thailand and most recently, Singapore. I have just moved home to Ireland with my young family.
In SEK, I will be teaching DP History and Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and MYP Individuals and Societies. I enjoy teaching enormously and I am very excited to be working in SEK Dublin."
Catherine Clulow
"I graduated with my Masters in Science in Ecology, Biodiversity and Biogeography from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, after which I worked in the NGO sector in biodiversity conservation and environmental education. Upon completing my Post Graduate Certificate in Education with the University of South Africa, I became a secondary sciences and biology teacher. I am a strong advocate that we are global citizens and responsible for leading a paradigm shift for sustainability. I am passionate about teaching and learning, to empower future generations through holistic education."
MaAngeles Martínez
"Following my passion for languages, I graduated in Philology from the University of Valladolid. After several years teaching in Spain, I moved to Ireland and worked as a professional translator for some large multinational corporations, but I missed the warmth and vibrancy of the classroom and so returned to education. Teaching as vocation is hugely rewarding due to the bonds you make with colleagues and students."

"We have learnt that the system used by
the SEK is special and different from
others, this is what makes our school
unique. All its techniques, methods and
resources have contributed a great deal
to the way we are and how we work."
Mary Jones
"I like the small class sizes, and the teachers give us a lot of attention and support!"
Thomas Martin
"I know I have grown to be more independent whilst here. I recommend to anyone looking to develop themselves academically and emotionally to consider attending SEK Dublin."
Christopher John
"We have discovered during the outbreak of the pandemic that our teachers are prepared to adapt and learn, so that we continue learning."

"The multiculturalism of SEK-Dublin International School is the best feature. The school is a small community and every child, no matter which year they are in, can be good friends and teachers mentor them well. Our sons have grown leaps and bounds both academically and socially. I highly recommend this school to any parent who wants their children to be true global citizens."
Yafit and Oren Rossen
"Our 3 boys are attending SEK Dublin this year. We had an experience with 3 other international schools worldwide and SEK Dublin is by far the best one. Our kids are showing great progress and in such a short time. Their level of writing essays, presentation, and analysing among many other skills has improved dramatically. We couldn't recommend this school more highly!"
Javier Delgado
1) "SEK-Dublin provides a really nice family atmosphere for the children. They get to know each other, and all the staff, teachers, cleaners, kitchen staff, driver, etc. make a really comfortable place for children to attend. SEK-Dublin gets the best from the children, making then participate, being involved in projects, and developing their own way of thinking.
It is the second year for our kid, and he is really happy. A really enriching and worthy experience for life."
Leslie John
"Classes are very small and the opportunities the children have are amazing. Their exposure to technology, the cultural opportunity of getting to know children from another country have been great. I honestly cannot express how grateful we are that we found SEK Dublin."
